Some 3 km away Civitella Alfedena, heart and center of the Park, offers unforgettable views of an ancient village and of the nature surrounding it. And more: the Mountains of the Camosciara, Val Fondillo, Val di Rose are places you will never forget. You can visit villages with many traditions and a long history: Opi, Pescasseroli, Barrea, Scanno, where cultural events of high level are held. We are situated in the middle of the Abruzzo/Lazio/Molise National Park, offering visitors a range of activities such as trekking, nordic walking, horseriding, mountain biking, canoeing and wind-surfing. In winter there is also ski-touring, cross-country skiing and even the unusual activity known as “ciaspole” i.e. walking on snow shoes. On the other hand for downhill skiers the lifts at Pescasseroli and Passo Godi (Scanno) are to be found only a few kilometres away.
